JBS USA is shuffling its corporate leadership. That's according to its parent company, JBS Foods, which announced this week that it would be appointing Tim Schellpeper, current CEO of JBS USA Fed Beef, to the role of CEO of JBS USA starting in January.

In addition to that appointment, the Global President of Operations position is being reinstated and jointly held by André Nogueira and Wesley Batista Filho. Nogueira, who is currently the CEO of JBS USA, will begin his new role in January, where he'll lead the operations in North America. Also commencing his new role in January, Filho will lead the operations in Latin America and Oceania, as well as leading the global plant-based business. Both Nogueira and Filho will report to Global CEO, Gilberto Tomazoni.

The meat processor says it is making the change to "ensure our focus on operational excellence, people, and our culture."

JBS USA has been in the news several times this year, most notably when it was hit with a cyber-attack during the summer. The Colorado-based subsidiary of JBS Foods also faced several legal issues relating to price-fixing as well.
