Fabrega, a former Amazon Executive, replaces Mike Wystrach, who is transitioning to an advisory role on the board.

Freshly, the Nestle-owned prepared Meal Delivery service, announced today that Chief Commercialization Officer Anna Fabrega would be stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Fabrega is replacing Freshly Founder and CEO, Mike Wystrach, who is transitioning to an advisory role on the Freshly Board.

Nestle acquired Freshly in late 2020 for $950 million after having initially acquiring a 16% stake of the company in 2017.

Fabrega joined Freshly in January as the company's Chief Commercialization Officer, where she's led Brand and Menu Development. Before joining Freshly, Fabrega led the Amazon Go Just Walk Out brick-and-mortar stores and Amazon Kitchen private label fresh foods businesses. Fabrega will report to Steve Presley, Chairman & CEO of Nestlé USA.
