Beyond Meat Exec Goes to Pilgrim’s Pride

Oct. 20, 2022
Former supply chain manager will head retail and QSR business.

A former executive of Beyond Meat has landed with Pilgrim’s Pride Corp.

Bernie Adcock, who had been chief supply chain officer with Beyond, left that job Sept. 30. His departure came on the heels of a suspension (later departure) of the chief operating officer, and in the wake of other bad news for Beyond, including a reduction of nearly a fifth of its workforce.

Adcock was hired soon after as head of retail and quick-service restaurant business for Pilgrim’s Pride. He had been hired away from Tyson Foods in December 2021, where he had been a supply chain executive.
