Today, the Consumer Brands Association announced David Chavern will become the organization’s new president and chief executive officer effective January 3, 2023. Chavern joins the association following his role as president and CEO of News Media Alliance.
In June, Geoff Freeman, who was credited with reshaping the focus of the association, announced he was leaving the association for another job. Stacy Papadopoulos, who served as general counsel and senior vice president of operations, had been serving as interim CEO since August 5.
