Tofurky Hires Jeff Schulkers as VP of Operations

His past jobs were at Darigold, Kraft and Grupo Lala.

Tofurky, one of the earliest creators of plant-based meat analogues, today (Nov. 22) announced the hiring of Jeff Schulkers as vice president of operations.

He has more than a decade of experience in operations and manufacturing management roles for companies that include Darigold, Kraft and Grupo Lala. At Tofurky, Schulkers will direct the company’s Hood River, Ore., facilities to increase output, improve efficiency and support in-house innovation.

Most recently, he held the role of Strategic Operations Director at Darigold, where under his leadership, energy usage was reduced by 16% per gallon produced, wastewater was reduced by 6% per gallon produced and overall waste was reduced by 12%.
