Chobani Names Chief Communications and Impact Officer

Dec. 9, 2022
Nishant Roy was originally the founder’s chief of staff.

Chobani Foods has promoted Nishant Roy to the first-ever post of chief communications and impact officer.

Roy previously served as chief of staff for Hamdi Ulukaya, Chobani’s founder and the man credited with bringing Greek yogurt to America. He was then promoted to chief of strategic operations before taking his current job, effective immediately.

As chief communications and impact officer, Roy will oversee corporate communications, government relations, sustainability, community impact and philanthropy. He will report directly to Kevin Burns, Chobani’s president and chief operating officer.

“I have known and worked closely with Nishant for many years and respect him enormously, Ulukaya said in a statement. “He is driven, dedicated, and cares deeply about the impact Chobani has had, and will continue to have, on the world. His experience across both business and service is exactly what we need in a leader to take Chobani’s impact to even greater heights.”
