Jeff Frank Joins Organic Valley as CEO

Jan. 17, 2023
Frank, who spent 25 years at Hormel, will take over as Chief Executive Officer on January 23 following the departure of outgoing CEO Bob Kirchoff.

Organic Valley, a dairy cooperative known for its network of small organic family farms, announced that Jeff Frank will be taking over as CEO on January 23. This comes as outgoing CEO Bob Kirchoff announces his retirement.

Frank comes to Organic Valley following a 25-year career at Hormel Foods, where he held several senior roles in product and brand management.

"I think it’s the perfect time for new leadership to guide the co-op's next phase of growth," said Kirchoff.

Kirchoff became CEO of Organic Valley in 2019, following the sudden departure of Organic Valley founder George Siemon. Siemon started Organic Valley in 1988 as a farm cooperative in southwest Wisconsin, specializing in organic products.
