Marion Plumb Joins Garner Foods as Senior Executive VP of Sales

He leaves Champion Brands for the maker of Texas Pete hot sauces.

Garner Foods, maker of Texas Pete hot sauces, last month appointed Marion Plumb senior executive vice president of sales, overseeing the company's foodservice sales, retail sales and customer support teams.

He brings more than 32 years of sales experience over multiple trade channels, most recently as VP of sales in North America for the Champion brand, which saw significant growth under his tenure. He does claim to be a “passionate” cook of Creole, Cajun and Soul Food cuisines.

Garner Foods, Winston-Salem, N.C., makes a full line of hot sauces, wing sauces and seafood sauces under the Texas Pete brand, as well as salsa and tortilla strips under the Green Mountain Gringo brand.
