Barry Callebaut Names New CEO

Peter Feld has led global investment, market research and other consumer goods and services companies in the past 30 years.

Swiss chocolate and cocoa producer Barry Callebaut Group has announced that Peter Feld will become the company’s new CEO effective immediately, as Peter Boone steps down from the role for personal reasons.

Feld joins Barry Callebaut from global investment firm Jacobs Holding, where he was also CEO, and he has more than 30 years of experience at global consumer goods and services companies,. Feld led market-research company GfK as well as WMF Group, a premium cookware and professional automatic coffee machine manufacturer. He has leadership experience at Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Beiersdorf, and is a former vice president of the German Brands Association.
