Verde Farms Welcomes Brad Johnson as President

He leaves a meat analogue company (Hungry Planet) for a real meat one.

Verde Farms, Boston-based processor of organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised beef, this summer hired CPG veteran Brad Johnson as president.

Prior to joining Verde, Johnson spent 20 years within the consumer packaged goods industry holding senior-level operations and marketing roles at brands such as Frito-Lay, Hershey and MillerCoors and as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co.

Most recently, he was the chief commercial officer and general manager of Hungry Planet, a maker of plant-based meat analogues. Johnson reports to CEO and Co-Founder of Verde Farms Dana Ehrlich.
