Utz Brands Names Chief Supply Chain Officer and Chief Transformation Officer

Nov. 20, 2023
Mitchell Arends joins from Kraft Heinz, current COO Cary Devore gets an additional title.

Salty snacks-maker Utz Brands last week announced two executive vice presidents: Mitchell Arends as EVP and Chief Integrated Supply Chain Officer and Cary Devore as EVP and Chief Operating and Transformation Officer.

That’s only a slight title change for Devore, who since 2021 has been an EVP and Chief Operating Officer. Devore joined Utz in November 2016 and has served in a variety of senior leadership roles, becoming an EVP and Chief Financial Officer in 2019.

Arends comes to Utz with over 25 years of experience in many aspects of supply chain management, most recently as Chief Supply Chain Officer of North America Operations at Kraft Heinz. He previously served in procurement and operations roles at Nestle & Gerber, R.R. Donnelley & Sons and Deere & Co.

“These appointments, which will be effective November 27, 2023, will enhance the company’s execution of both short- and long-term objectives, including supply chain optimization and integrated business planning,” the company statement said.
