Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods Names Four Leaders for its Commercial Organization

Tiffany Hicks, Amanda Duran and Sonia Merges are new hires and Michael Richards was promoted.

Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods (COSFF) announced three new hires and one promotion within its commercial organization.

Tiffany Hicks has been hired as senior vice president-foodservice and wholesale. Before joining COSFF, she led foodservice at Bumble Bee Foods and Danone North America, and earlier was at PepsiCo and Pepsi Bottling Group.

Joining as senior director consumer, Amanda Duran will oversee club channel activity as well as have key account responsibilities in the retail channel. She earlier was chief revenue officer at Grass Fed Foods and Teton Waters Ranch.

Sonia Merges leaves Crystal Cove Seafood to become sales manager in the foodservice/wholesale channel. Sonia started her seafood career with Empress International, prior to its 2009 merger with COSFF.

Additionally, Michael Richards has been promoted to senior vice president-commercial/category and has taken on expanded responsibilities overseeing activities in crab meat and finfish categories, as well as leading the retail channel team.

As the name implies, COSFF is the frozen seafood business of parent Thai Union Group. Its brands include Chicken of the Sea, Xcellent, Asian Gold, Orion, and VanCamps.
