Sarah Atkinson Joins National Confectioners Association as a Vice President

She leaves her family’s Atkinson Candy Company to become NCA’s vice president of membership & business development.

Sarah Atkinson of Atkinson Candy Co. joins the National Confectioners Assn. next week as vice president of membership & business development.

A graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst and New York University, Atkinson worked in marketing for Fortune 500 companies before returning to her family’s company. She eventually served as executive vice president and board secretary. Atkinson Candy Co., Lufkin, Texas, makes Mary Janes and Slo Pokes, among other products.

Earlier at NCA, she was a former NCA Future Leader and board member. She will start work on Feb. 26.
