Conagra Brands Inc. has appointed former Tyson Prepared Foods executive Noelle O’Mara to be its new executive vice president & president, New Platforms and Acquisitions, according to a release from the company.
O’Mara, who will step into the role effective May 6, 2024, will identify and scale new, organic growth platforms and acquisitions, spanning strategy, product innovation, commercialization, synergy capture and in-market execution.
She brings more than 20 years of CPG industry experience, having most recently served as group president of Prepared Foods for Tyson Foods, a position she had held since 2019. O’Mara joined Tyson Foods in 2016 as its vice president, new business models, and worked her way up to general manager and senior vice president of the Tyson and Jimmy Dean business units, and eventually chief marketing officer just prior to earning the group president, Prepared Foods, role.
Prior to her time at Tyson Foods, O’Mara had held senior level general manager positions at Kraft Foods.
