Golden State Foods has announced the promotion of Mariana Manole to senior vice president, global food safety, quality and regulatory affairs (FSQR), and the appointment of Steve Ross to the role of senior vice president, operations, for the Liquid Products of North America (LPNA) business.
Manole has worked for GSF since 2016 and is being elevated from her role as group vice president, global FSQR, which she held for the past three years. She will now be the chief global quality leader, overseeing all worldwide manufacturing facilities and distribution centers for GSF. Previously, Manole worked for Cargill Inc., Brill Co-CSM Bakery Products North America, and Wayne Farms LLC, among other companies.
Dr. Wayne Morgan, corporate vice president and president, protein products and operations support services, for GSF, called Manole “a proven difference-maker for GSF and for our valued foodservice customers around the world.” Manole led the LPNA comprehensive, rapid transformation of all FSQR systems to best-in-class industry status, the release noted.
Meanwhile, Ross will provide leadership and direction to all liquid products operation activities in his role. Prior to joining GSF, he was director of operations for TreeHouse Foods, overseeing five North American locations for the company.
