DayDayCook Adds New COO to Spearhead Integration of Recent Acquisitions

June 20, 2024
Former Tyson Foods senior vice president joins the growing Asian foods company, which is looking to become an Asian foods powerhouse.

DDC Enterprise Ltd. (DayDayCook) has announced that Malik Sadiq is its new chief operating officer (COO) effective immediately. In his role, Sadiq is expected to spearhead integration of the company’s brands across the globe, including the recent acquisition of Omsom and prior additions of Nona Lin and Yai’s Thai.

The Omsom deal was the third Asian foods acquisition in the U.S. for the company, and Norma Chu, DayDayCook founder and CEO, said Sadiq will help the company “efficiently execute on our business plan,” and make impactful contributions as DayDayCook “continues its journey to become an Asian food powerhouse.”

Sadiq brings more than 25 years of experience in global food and beverage, including more than 15 years at Tyson Foods as its senior vice president of International and Export divisions. Most recently, however, Sadiq served as co-CEO and COO of LiveKindly Collective.
