Summit Hill Foods Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer

Kyle Peterson has led marketing efforts for various CPG food brands in his career, which spans more than 20 years.

Rome, Ga.-based Summit Hill Foods, makers of The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce, Better Than Bouillon, and Better Than Gravy, has appointed Kyle Peterson to be its new chief marketing officer, according to a release sent to Food Processing.

Peterson will oversee all marketing, advertising and digital activities, and he will develop innovative strategies to enhance awareness and drive revenue growth across the brand portfolio, the release noted.

Peterson joins Summit Hill with more than 20 years of marketing and food industry experience, most recently serving as senior vice president of marketing at InnovAsian Cuisine. Prior to that position, Peterson held senior marketing leadership and brand managements positions at CPG companies such as SunOpta, Post Consumer Brands and General Mills.
