Sun-Maid Growers of California promoted Steve Loftus from President and Chief Operating Officer to President and Chief Executive Officer. Also, Harry Overly will step down as Executive Chairman of Sun-Maid’s Board of Directors to focus on his role as President and CEO of Flagstone Foods.

Loftus joined Sun-Maid as President and COO in December 2022. At the time, he replaced Braden Bender who served as interim president but then returned to the role of chief financial officer. Loftus came from TreeHouse Foods where worked for 10 years, most recently as vice president and general manager of the condiments business. He earlier worked at Kraft Foods in finance.

Overly became CEO of Flagstone Foods, a private equity-owned processor of private-label nuts and trail mixes, in late 2022 but remained on Sun-Maid’s board.
