Veggie-forward frozen foods processor Dr. Praeger’s has appointed Anita Gogia to be its chief financial officer (CFO), according to a release from the company.

Gogia brings nearly 30 years of experience with public companies and private equity-backed companies in consumer-packaged goods and distribution industries. Dr. Praeger’s is a portfolio company of Vestar Capital Partners. It was founded in 1994 by Drs. Praeger and Somberg, cardiothoracic surgeons, to create nutritious, convenient, and delicious frozen food that encourages healthier eating, the release noted.

Most recently, Gogia was senior vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis at Imperial Dade, where she had spent more than five years.
