Dr. Praeger’s Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Anita Gogia brings nearly three decades of finance leadership experience with various CPG and food-related companies.

Veggie-forward frozen foods processor Dr. Praeger’s has appointed Anita Gogia to be its chief financial officer (CFO), according to a release from the company.

Gogia brings nearly 30 years of experience with public companies and private equity-backed companies in consumer-packaged goods and distribution industries. Dr. Praeger’s is a portfolio company of Vestar Capital Partners. It was founded in 1994 by Drs. Praeger and Somberg, cardiothoracic surgeons, to create nutritious, convenient, and delicious frozen food that encourages healthier eating, the release noted.

Most recently, Gogia was senior vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis at Imperial Dade, where she had spent more than five years. She also has held finance leadership roles at Kraft Foods, PepsiCo and Pinnacle Foods (which was acquired by Conagra Brands). Andy Reichgut, CEO of Dr. Praeger’s believes Gogia’s “deep financial expertise along with her proven ability to drive results and build high-performing teams will be strong assets to us.”
