Liquid Death Appoints Two New Executives to Support Continued Growth
Beverage processor Liquid Death has appointed two executives to its leadership team, naming Mike Fine to chief retail officer and Marisa Bertha to chief strategy officer. The company noted in a release that the moves are timed in conjunction with its scaling of its retail and distributor presence and expansion of its product line through items such as its iced tea line launched last year.
Fine will lead the retail expansion and distribution efforts, bringing nearly 20 years of non-alcoholic beverage industry experience to his new role. He most recently served as chief customer and marketing officer at Accelerator Active Energy and was the vice president of marketing at BodyArmor prior to that. Additionally, he spent time in a variety of roles at Nestle Waters, Coca Cola (with Fuse and NOS) and PepsiCo (with SoBe).
Bertha moves into the chief strategy officer role from her position at Liquid Death as senior vice president, Strategy — a role she held for more than two years. Bertha will continue to lead fundraising, investor relations and execution of the company’s strategy. She previously had served as vice president, Growth, for 7-Eleven, prior to her time at Liquid Death.
