Mars Picks Executive to Lead Digital Tech, Global Business Services

Marina Bellini has driven digital transformation efforts and led operations for various CPG and financial services companies.

Mars has appointed Marina Bellini to lead its operations, global business services and enterprise digital technologies across the entire $50-billion-plus company, according to a release. Bellini is based in Newark, N.J., and will report to Mars Inc. CFO Claus Aagaard.

Bellini has a proven track record in transforming operations, IT, digital, data and analytics, and business services into high-value inputs to businesses and customers, Mars noted. She brings more than 25 years’ experience atop the digital, technology, data and shared services teams for CPG and financial services companies. Her career has taken her to jobs in Latin America, North America and Europe.

Most recently, Bellini had served for two years as the COO of Itaú Unibanco, Latin America's largest bank. Prior to that role, she had been CIO/CDO at BAT, leading that company’s digital transformation. Previous food and beverage experience includes stints as CIO for PepsiCo’s Latin America and global categories, and global CIO and GBS SVP for AB InBev, where she had worked for 13 years in various roles, both regionally and globally.
