Nissin Foods USA Names New Senior VP of Sales and Chief Customer Officer

John F. Perugini II joins the ramen maker’s U.S. operations to drive strategy and expand Nissin Foods in retail.

Nissin Foods USA has announced John F. Perugini II to be its senior vice president of Sales and chief customer officer, according to a release shared by the Top Ramen and Cup Noodles maker.

Perugini brings more than 20 years of experience in food and beverage to the role, in which he will lead the sales strategy, drive retail expansion in the U.S. and reinforce the ramen maker’s commitment to its customers. He is also expected to work with the marketing team to innovate, refine and execute Nissin Foods’ sales strategy, and leverage core, premium and limited-time products to meet consumer needs.

He has built brands and strengthened retail partnerships across large, global CPG companies and private equity-backed businesses, the release noted. Most recently, Perugini held executive leadership roles at Fontaine Sante and Fresh Origins.
