Golden State Foods (GSF) has appointed two new leaders to its executive team, naming Everton Harris to corporate senior vice president and chief human resources officer, and Campbell Cooper to corporate senior vice president and chief customer and strategy officer.
Harris joined GSF last month to serve as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, senior executive team and board of directors, according to a GSF release, and is now expected to create a future-focused HR function positioning talent as a competitive advantage for the company.
He brings 35 years of HR experience and had previously served as chief HR officer and vice president of HR (EMEA and India) for Herbalife Nutrition, as well as vice president of global talent management for Hitachi Data Systems.
Cooper has transitioned into his newly created senior leadership role, in which he will oversee strategic planning and all commercial sales activities, including GSF’s Global McDonald’s Business Unit and National Accounts Sales. He most recently served as GSF corporate vice president and president of GSF’s International Business Group, encompassing food manufacturing and distribution operations in the Asia Pacific and Middle East/Africa regions.
Cooper joined GSF in 2018, having previously spent time with Royal Cosun, Fronterra, Nestlé Purina Europe and Zespri International.
