Celsius Hires PepsiCo Partnership Executive to Be Its New President, COO

Eric Hanson, who was senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships at PepsiCo — thus working directly with Celsius — expected to help Celsius continue to grow.

Celsius Holdings Inc. has appointed Eric Hanson to be its president and chief operating officer (COO) effective March 24, 2025.

Hanson most recently served as senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships at PepsiCo Inc., working with the company’s partners including Celsius, Keurig Dr Pepper and Tropicana Brands, managing a portfolio of brands representing more than $3 billion in annual revenue. He joined PepsiCo in 1997 and held various leadership roles, including senior vice president of Energy Drinks, leading the integration of Rockstar Energy Drinks following its $4 billion acquisition.

In his new role with Celsius, Hanson will report to chairman and CEO John Fieldly. He will lead growth-driving functions at Celsius and is expected to unlock additional synergies with the company’s strategic partners.

Celsius recently announced the acquisition of the Alani Nu brand of beverages, and Hanson will be tasked with continuing to grow all of the company’s beverage and health-and-wellness brands.
