Mark Kirkham Promoted to Chief Marketing Officer for PepsiCo North American Beverages

He replaces Greg Lyons, who was CMO for eight years but is leaving the company.

Greg Lyons, who was chief marketing officer for PepsiCo North American Beverages for eight years, has left the company and been replaced by company veteran Mark Kirkham.

Kirkham shared on his LinkedIn page he’ll lead marketing for the $27 billion beverages business that includes such brands as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade and soon Poppi energy drink.

Kirkham most recently was PepsiCo’s senior vice president of marketing for sparkling brands and returned to the U.S. six months ago after holding international leadership roles, including CMO of PepsiCo International Beverages.

He’s been with the company 14 years. Before PepsiCo, he spent nearly five years at Procter & Gamble.
