Frozen potato and sweet potato processor Lamb Weston Holdings Inc. has appointed Benjamin Heselton to be its chief information officer, according to a release from the company. He will lead Lamb Weston’s global technology strategy and act as the contact point for all areas of the company when it comes to technology execution.
Most recently, Heselton acted as chief technology officer for Wurth IT USA, leading the digital organization and overseeing IT services for the company’s North American operations.
He was a founding member of the Global Information Security Council for the maker of automotive chemicals, fasteners, hand tools and electrical supplies, and he also partnered with other Wurth global IT organizations during his time. Heselton spent 18 years with The Wurth Group in various roles from chief information officer to vice president of Information Technology and Project Management.
