Fontaine Santé Foods, a Canadian maker of hummus, dips, salads and salsa, named Thomas (TJ) Kanaris its CEO, it was announced by Arbor Investments, its private equity owner. He replaces Joe Ens, who was named CEO in September 2023.
Fontaine Santé makes and sells products under its own brand in Canada and under the Garden Fresh Gourmet and Lantana brands in the U.S. Arbor Investments has owned the company since November 2021.
Kanaris has more than 25 years of consumer packaged goods experience, most recently as president of Select Food Products Ltd., a privately held branded and private-label sauces manufacturer in the Toronto Area. He earlier held cross-border leadership roles at Unilever, Wrigley and Mars.
