V&V Supremo Foods Taps Former Hostess’ Chief Growth Officer to Be Its New CEO
Dan O’Leary will join the Mexican cheeses, creams and chorizo processor after leading the integration of Hostess into The J.M. Smucker Co. following its acquisition.

Chicago-based Mexican cheeses, creams and chorizo processor V&V Supremo Foods Inc. has appointed Dan O’Leary to be its new chief executive officer, effective Nov. 17, 2025, according to a release from the company.
O’Leary comes to V&V Supremo with more than 20 years of leadership experience in management, operations and brand marketing for both global corporations and family-owned companies, such as Kraft Foods, Mizkan America and Tyson Foods.
O’Leary most recently was chief growth officer for Hostess Brands, where he led the integration of Hostess into The J.M. Smucker Co. after its acquisition.
Andy Hanacek has covered meat, poultry, bakery and snack foods as a B2B editor for nearly 20 years, and has toured hundreds of processing plants and food companies, sharing stories of innovation and technological advancement throughout the food supply chain. In addition, Hanacek led the Meat Industry Hall of Fame for several years and was vice president of communications for We R Food Safety, a food safety software and consulting company.
