Monte’s Fine Foods, New York-based maker of sauces, today announced the appointment of Chris Crowe to the newly created role of president. He will support founder & CEO PJ Monte.
Crowe joins Monte’s following a six-year stint at Recess, a pioneer in the relaxation beverage space. Prior to Recess, Crowe held finance and sales positions with Procter & Gamble, Heineken, Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates and Constellation Brands – in all, he has more than two decades of leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods space, specifically with food and beverage brands.
Monte’s sauce is available in more than 1,000 retail stores across the country, including Erewhon, Target, Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, DeCicco & Sons, Kings, Uncle Giusseppe’s Marketplace, Zabars, Fairway and Union Market.
