My Own Meals Brings on New Executive Leader to Help Drive Growth
My Own Meals, a Deerfield, Ill.-based manufacturer of fully cooked, shelf-stable meals, has appointed Kathleen Dumler to be its chief operating officer and senior vice president, as well as president & CEO of J&M Food Products Co., a division of My Own Meals.
Dumler will be expected to steer the company’s strategy moving forward, focusing on organic growth, market expansion, operational excellence, business system modernization and organizational development, the announcement from the company noted. My Own Meals is looking to invest in future growth and expand its place as an industry leader in shelf-stable meals for customers with a variety of dietary needs.
Dumler most recently served as chief financial officer for Smart Care, which provides repair and maintenance services for commercial foodservice equipment. She has been a member of My Own Meals’ board of directors for the last six years, and she brings a wide range of experience over the last 20 years, having held executive leadership positions at Envoy Solutions, Anixter and Wesco.
