Ruiz Foods Adds New SVP, General Counsel
Ruiz Food Products Inc. has announced the appointment of Jared Vitemb as its senior vice president, general counsel.
Vitemb joins Ruiz Foods from Farmer Brothers Co., where he had been vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer, and corporate secretary. He also had previously overseen the company’s legal, communications, risk/safety, compliance, and human resources functions, the announcement noted. At Ruiz Foods, he will lead the company’s legal function and be the primary legal advisor to the CEO, board of directors and executive leadership team.
He joins the frozen Mexican foods company with extensive experience as a business attorney in large law firms as well as in-house roles — he has advised corporate board and management teams, and has an “extensive background in navigating complex corporate transitions,” said Kimberli Carroll, president and CEO of Ruiz Foods.
