Hershey’s 100 Calorie Whipped Vanilla Bars

The packaging is very appealing. At first, since it looked delicious, I wanted to try it. The vanilla and chocolate mixed together is a great idea. I think it is amazing they can make something that tastes so good with only 100 calories.
Ashley Morrison-Sain, 8th grade:
The Hershey’s 100 Calorie Whipped Vanilla Bar sounds delicious and the packaging looks as good as it sounds. But don’t be fooled. Chocolate lovers will be disappointed because the vanilla overwhelms the chocolate taste; in fact, you can’t really taste any chocolate at all. When holding and chewing it, the bar is most like a 3 Musketeers bar. The smell is like regular candy. Overall the bar does not meet expectations.

The brown packaging is appealing to the health-conscious. The chocolate and the fluffy whipped vanilla are a very good mix. If you compare this to a normal Hershey’s bar, you can hardly tell it is healthier. With a very good candy taste and a more healthy content, it is a perfect mix of health and pleasure.
Alice Welna, 8th grade:
These bars are not as good as I expected. You can barely taste the chocolate, and what you do taste isn’t very vanilla-y. The texture is weird, somewhere between chewy and grainy. They make me thirsty. It’s good they are healthier and only have 100 calories, but they taste terrible.
Alante Hartzol, 8th grade:
This was the best Hershey’s product I have ever tasted. Right when you put it in your mouth, you can feel it melt. The texture is smooth and soft. It smells like any other candy bar, but it is the best. The shape and design remind me of a 3 Musketeers bar.

Eye-catching packaging, with easily readable print. It clearly advertises the fact that there are 100 calories, which is a great bonus. Very tasty, with a soft texture and nice taste. It’s not overwhelming at all and not too light. Would make for a good after-school snack for kids, because it wouldn’t be too fatty.

I like it. The taste is better than the original Hershey’s taste because the original tastes like coffee. The texture is soft. It doesn’t even look like a Hershey’s bar because the name is not printed on it like the original.

The Hershey’s 100 Calorie Whipped Vanilla Bar doesn’t taste so good. I opened it and was expecting something different. It didn’t taste like Hershey’s at all. The bar kind of tastes like coffee. Maybe next time, try to make it taste like an original Hershey’s bar.

This was the [worst] thing I have ever tasted. It didn’t taste like chocolate at all. Stay with the normal stuff, not with creamy stuff. Don’t put this on the shelves.

The bar tastes like ice cream, but has the convenience of being in a chocolate bar. They also have the convenience of having 100 calories. This is a good, cheap way to have a good chocolate bar. You can eat these and not look like you’re pigging out.

The taste of the Hershey’s 100 Calorie Whipped Vanilla Bar is delicious and smooth. The texture is smooth and rigid. The bar smells like a Hershey’s Chocolate Bar. The wrapping is average-looking and not really appealing.

These bars are good and have a coffee taste to them. The texture is smooth and creamy. When you bite into it, some melts in your mouth. The bar is good and a fine snack for after school, with friends, or maybe a good midnight snack.

Hershey’s Whipped Vanilla Bar has very good packaging -- very appealing. It looks like a candy bar, but has only 100 calories, which is very well advertised. The taste is very soft and has good amounts of chocolate and vanilla. A very good alternative to a regular candy bar. Personally, I think these bars are delectable, and I would buy them myself.

It tastes creamy with strong vanilla. It’s good for a 100-calorie snack. It has zero grams of trans fat. The top is ruffled. It has a strong aroma, and I like it.

It tastes really good. You only taste the flavor of vanilla. It sounds like a delicious bar, but the taste is not so much chocolate because it tastes more like vanilla. I really would buy this bar.
Josh Huff, 8th grade:
Hershey, it tastes good and is a really good snack. It smells like chocolate and a fudge bar. It feels smooth and it has a slippery peel.
Deontae Strong, 8th grade:
It tastes like a vanilla shake with little chocolate bits in it. The vanilla is yellow or white, but mostly white. The candy bar is very creamy like S’mores with marshmallows.
