Someone’s love of candy goes much farther beyond just the taste, it involves many different elements, such as texture and smell. Jennifer Schnur, co-owner of Thomas Sweet Ice Cream & Chocolate explains that there is a distinct science behind creating chocolate candy.
“The same ingredients combined at different temperatures or at different times… you come up with a different product,” said Schnur.
