Ritter Sport Continues Its Build With Chris Avery as Vice President of Sales

Avery leaves Haribo for the newly established U.S. beachhead of the German chocolatier.

German chocolatier Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co., known for its Ritter Sport brand, continues to build out its newly established a U.S. subsidiary with the hiring of Chris Avery as vice president of sales.

Avery has more than 20 years of experience in the confectionary business. He comes to Ritter Sport USA from Haribo of America Inc., where he was vice president of sales. He joined that company in 2017. Earlier, he worked at Mars Wrigley and Ferrara.

Just last month, Ritter Sport USA was established in Chicago and Ralf Hilpuesch was appointed CEO.
