New IFT Certification Program to Recognize Applied Knowledge and Skills

Food professionals will be able to gain the title of Certified Food Scientist through the Institute of Food Technologists by meeting certain eligibility requirements and by taking a certification exam.
The Institute of Food Technologists recently launched its new Certified Food Scientist (CFS) program. The certification was developed by IFT for food scientists throughout the world. Through the program, food scientists will have the chance to earn credentials that recognize applied knowledge and skills in food science.
