Milwaukee, Wis.-based Palermo Villa Inc., manufacturer of branded and private label pizzas, has announced that it will build a new, 200,000-sq.-ft. production facility in West Milwaukee, three miles away from the company’s corporate headquarters. The new facility will provide 50 new skilled labor positions, the company said in a release.
Palermo’s is looking to address expanding demand for its products, the company stated. Angelo Fallucca, president of Palermo’s Pizza, said in the release: “We continue to see demand for our pizzas increase and are being proactive to meet future needs.”
The new plant will be built on the site of the former Froedtert Malt / MaltEurop facility, a complex that had stood for more than a century — a visible icon of the legendary Milwaukee beer industry’s history. The What was at one time the largest malting facility in the world was fully demolished in 2022-2023.
