Stacy’s Rise Project 2021 Winners Announced
The Stacy’s Rise Project announced the 10 recipients of its 2021 grant-recipient class today. The Stacy’s Rise Project, which helps female founders grow their businesses through funding, mentoring, and community, awarded 10 female founders each a $10,000 grant.
The 10 Female Founders that make up the 2021 Class are:

- Samotria Holmes, Simpsonville, S.C., Holmes Sweet Home
- Marsha Stephanson, Pflugerville, Texas, Cater to Mom
- Sue Kakuk, Minneapolis, Minn., Kakookies
- Jocelyn Ramirez, Los Angeles, Calif., Todo Verde
- Adrienne Walker, Capitol Heights, Md., BlueHenry LLC
- Amber Balakian, Reedley, Calif., Balakian Farms
- Alberta Liao, Millbrae, Calif., Jinka
- Julie Butcher, Estero, Fla., The Vegan Knife
- Sajani Amarasiri, San Francisco, Calif., Kola Goodies Inc.
In addition to its recipient class, Stacy’s Rise Project also announced its FoundedByHer.org business directory, which helps consumers to locate female-founded businesses by zip code or category. Female-owned food & beverage companies can also register their own businesses on the platform as well.
