Marathon motors

Several additions to the Marathon motor line of products extends the horsepower range of the line to 100 hp. Black Max motors are designed for inverter or vector applications where a torque speed range of up to 1000:1 is required. They are available from 1/4 to 30 hp. Blue Max 2000 vector-duty motors are available from 40 to 100 hp and are designed for inverter or vector applications. Blue Chip XRI inverter-duty motors are available from 40 to 100 hp and meet NEMA premium efficiencies. All Marathon motors carry a three-year warranty. To meet the stringent requirements of cold aseptic packaging, the new design includes purpose-built servos mounted on the rotating carousel and used for the closing head drives. Servo automation enables rapid changeovers and consistent capping torques. The servo system relocates the cam support and closing element below the bottle mouth and to the inside of the bottle axis. Only the washable chuck, spring package and rejector are located above the bottles.
