Baker's Breakfast CookieBellingham, Wash.Varieties: Fruit & Nut, Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Oatmeal Raisin, Pumpkin Spice, Lemon Poppy Seed and vegan varieties such as Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Fruit and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk. Anders Pollack, 7th grade:I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk. The packaging is normal ,- just a label on some plastic. The smell is a little weird, like way too much peanut butter. It tastes like really creamy peanut butter with some sweetness. It's really smooth and moist. All in all, I'd say it tastes good. It's a strange idea because you don't really eat cookies at breakfast, but hey, whatever floats your boat.Daniella Elvira, 7th grade:The packaging is great and easy to open. The taste is delicious. Texture is a little too moist, but good. I think it is a necessary product because some people have to have a quick breakfast and this is.Jacob Rohde, 7th grade:The packaging is very simple and easy to open. The design doesn't catch your eye, but it does the trick. The taste of the Oatmeal Raisin is just okay and it's not something I would eat for breakfast. It would be a nice after school snack. The texture of the oatmeal really takes away from the taste --like it's uncooked, which decreases the taste. I don't think an Oatmeal Raisin Breakfast Cookie is necessary because you could just have some oatmeal. It's a good idea, but oatmeal lovers would have the real stuff, not a cookie for breakfast.Carl Glick, 7th grade:The packaging isn't very creative, and a kid wouldn't want it if they saw it (they wouldn't like the way it looks either). I personally think they are wonderful (even though it feels like my grandma's fruit cake). These are perfect for morning bikers, but it's not something for breakfast at a table.Emily Gregori, 7th grade:The packaging is very easy to open. The cookies have a sweet smell and taste sweet too. They're soft in your mouth. I think these cookies are necessary because we need to try new things. Ariana Merari, 7th grade:The packaging is good; it has a smart logo. I had the Peanut Butter. The cookie tastes all right; more like a piece of dough. It is too chewy and moist. The oatmeal makes it even mushier. The cookies could be necessary. They are a good idea since a lot of people don't eat breakfast.James Robertson, 7th grade:Dear editor, the Breakfast Cookies are very good and I could eat them a lot. The packaging is very good and easy to open, and the cookies taste just like the flavors and have a good texture. Sincerely, Grant.Stacey Gill, 7th grade:The Chocolate Chunk cookie is delicious. I wouldn't buy it in the store, but I would eat it if someone gave it to me. I really enjoyed the cookie; it tastes good. Everyone should try it. I would recommend it. Lazar Barjaktarevic, 7th grade:Pumpkin Spice is very rich and tasty. I definitely recommend this to market. I prefer this cookie to other ones I know. Not only do I love pumpkin pie, but I don't have much time for breakfast. It's my favorite product. Justin Middleton, 7th grade:These are good. They smell good and the texture feels good. The package is very easy to open. I think they are necessary.Nick Fayson, 7th grade:The packaging is fine. The Oatmeal cookie tastes like a regular oatmeal cookie. It is kind of gritty, and I don't think it is necessary. If you have a new product you want to test on our 7th- and 8th-grade panelists, contact Diane Toops at [email protected], or (630) 467-1300, ext. 321.
