Sara Lee's Barnes Had a Stroke

According to Sara Lee, Chairman and CEO Brenda Barnes suffered a stroke.

Sara Lee Corp.'s Brenda Barnes, who recently took a leave of absence from the company, is reported to be in good condition after suffering a stroke.

FoodProcessing.com reported the leave in May. According to a statement released by Sara Lee, Barnes is "pleased to see how effectively our interim team is performing in executing our ongoing strategy and moving the company forward during my absence."
