J&J Snack Foods was selected by Forbes magazine for its' "200 Best Small Companies" list once again for 2007. This is the fifth consecutive year and sixth time that J&J Snack Foods Corp. has ranked on the Forbes magazine’s “200 Best Small Companies” list. J&J Snack Foods moved up to #169 from #178, a substantial gain for one year.

Forbes only considers publicly traded U.S. based companies with sales in the $5 million to $750 million range (“small” by Forbes standards). To qualify for this list, candidates have to show a consistent pattern of positive growth during a five-year period, as well as over the last 12 months. Forbes uses strict criteria, including sales and earnings growth, return on equity and long-term debt.

"This is a fine tribute to our company and our staff. It is an honor to be on the Forbes 'Best 200' list five years in a row,” said Gerald B. Shreiber, J&J Snack Foods’ president and CEO.
