Robert Sarlls took over as president/CEO of private label snack-maker Wyandot Inc. on Nov. 2.
He replaces Nick Chilton as CEO and Rex Parrott as president/COO, both of whom announced their retirements earlier this year, and both of whom will remain on the board of directors.
Sarlls has been in the food industry more than 20 years, most recently with Food Strategies LLC as a consultant to mid-sized food companies and food-focused private equity firms. But before that, he held several executive positions with John B. Sanfilippo & Son, supplier of nuts and salty snacks.
