The Company is hosting a sampling event on May 17 at the Rotunda at Liberty Place in Philadelphia, where both its employees and its mascot, Kirbee the Krimpet, will be on hand to give out the free samples. Pina Colada Juniors are a moist yellow cake layered with sweet pineapple cream filling and topped with vanilla frosting and toasted coconut. The Peanut Butter Kreamie is a signature Tastykake chocolate cake, filled with peanut butter cream and topped with rich chocolate butter cream icing.The company also announced the introduction of new Chocolate Lovers Cupcakes and Vanilla Lovers Cupcakes. "The Lovers Cupcakes, both Chocolate and Vanilla, are exciting additions to our top selling cupcake line," said Schutz. "As the name implies, the Lovers Cupcakes celebrate either their chocolate or vanilla flavoring with cake, frosting and filling all in that particular flavor."
