Hershey seduces shoppers on Chicago's Miracle Mile

Hershey Foods Corp. plans to open its second retail candy store, this one on Chicago’s tony Miracle Mile, North Michigan Avenue. The company is calling this outpost “a virtual candy factory,” according to Associated Press, where kids will be able to produce their own Hershey candy by operating a miniature production line. Their parents will be able to personalize cookies, cupcakes and brownies.It's the company's second retail foray outside of Hershey's Chocolate World exhibit at its Hershey, Pa., headquarters. A similar store is in New York’s Times Square.
