Headquartered in Dusseldorf, Germany, with U.S. offices in Los Angeles, Just Spices launched in the U.S. in October 2016 with 20 seasoning blends and two everyday essentials (salt and pepper). The company is now rolling out a dozen new mouth-thrilling blends to enliven everything from beverages to yogurt. All products are certified USDA organic and contain no flavor enhancers. They range in price from $5.99 to $7.99.
The innovative new offerings include Berry Yogurt Seasoning, which is based on sweet, flavorful mixed berries and is intended for sprinkling on yogurt or cereal or for mixing with warm milk for an anytime drink. Blossom Mix combines a garden of edible flowers. It adds flavor and aroma to salads and rice dishes, and from pancakes and French toast to all types of desserts.
There are a number of product-specific seasonings. The Hash Brown Seasoning features smoked salt, fenugreek, curry and a bit of nutmeg to upgrade any potato dish -- not just hash browns, but roasted spuds and fries, too. The Vegetable Seasoning is a mix of paprika, cayenne pepper, Tellicherry pepper, onion and garlic. The company says it boosts virtually any vegetable or pasta dish from tame to tantalizing.
