As part of an increased focus on healthful snacking, Hershey Co. adds a number of new products to its Brookside portfolio. New Brookside Yogurt Flavored Fruit & Nut Bars are made with real fruit with natural flavors, nuts and seeds and accented with a yogurt-flavored cream. The gluten-free, non-GMO bars come in three flavors: Cranberry Blueberry with Citrus, Mango Pineapple and Vanilla Fig. Individual bars retail for $1.59, while four-count multipacks have a suggested price of $4.99.
Hershey also introduces Brookside Tablet Bars in three combinations: Blueberry Almond with Acai Flavor, Cranberry Almond with Blood Orange Flavor and Mango Coconut Crisp. Later in the year, the company plans to elevate the protein snacking experience with the introduction of Krave meat bars, which are culinary-inspired combinations of dried fruit and quinoa with dried meat. Varieties will be Chipotle Cherry Beef, Cranberry Thyme Turkey, Mango Jalapeño Pork and Wild Blueberry BBQ Beef.
