Dec. 10, 2008
Anheuser-Busch InBev will cut 1,400 jobs in the United States.

According to WSJ.com, Anheuser-Busch InBev said it will shed 1,400 jobs in the United States to wring cost savings from the recent deal that formed the world's largest brewer by sales.

About 75 percent of the reductions will occur in St. Louis, the longtime home of Anheuser-Busch, which was acquired by InBev last month for $52 billion.
