California Natural Products enjoys Sweet Success -- and vice versa

Sweet Success Enterprises Inc. announced Oct. 14 that it has signed an agreement with Lathrop, Calif.-based California Natural Products (CNP) as the Company's new co-packer. Sweet Success has also ended the co-packing agreement it had with Kiko Foods.Under the new agreement, CNP will package and prepare the Company's line of all-natural beverages for retail distribution. CNP (www.californianatural.com) has aseptic co-packing facilities at its California headquarters and in Savannah, Ga. All production is done under kosher conditions. The new arrangement is expected to support the Company's expanded rollout of its product lines.

The Company has a modest production run scheduled for later this month at CNP's Savannah facilities to introduce a new flavor and pack an introductory quantity of its berry juice-based antioxidant Complete Fuel to begin the expansion of the product line.San Antonio-based Sweet Success Enterprises Inc. acquired the Sweet Success brand and all properties associated with it in 2002. Its new Sweet Success Complete Fuel which is formulated to promote endurance, heart health and energy is available now in a limited number of stores. Additional products are expected to be introduced over the next few months.
