DARNEL UNVEILS NEW FOODSERVICE PRODUCTS AT ISSA INTERCLEAN

Darnel, the international plastics manufacturer with a newly opened 252,000 square foot facility in Monroe, NC, is proud to introduce several new products to their foodservice packaging line at ISSA Interclean North America, September 8-9, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth #667.
Darnel is expanding its foodservice line to offer distributors a true one-stop-shop, says Tom Woods, Vice President, Foodservice Division, Darnel. We make it easy for the distributor by consolidating its purchases of over 30 products which are available in stock and ready to ship.
Darnel will unveil the following products at ISSA Interclean:
UNIQUE NEW PRODUCT OPPORTUNITIES:
- Antibacterial Film is unique to the foodservice market. Darnels antibacterial film is
manufactured with a non-Triclosan based additive that will safely and effectively control the growth of bacteria around wrapped food. It comes in a polycoated box with a slide cutter. - Venetian Dessert Cups offer a classy cup design with a multi-function lid that converts from to-go cover into a base for display purposes. The cups come in 3oz, 5oz, 8oz, and 12oz sizes,
and can be printed with the customer logo. Venetian Dessert Cups are available in clear and are
ideal for all puddings, jellos, ice creams, tiramisus, fruit cup and candy desserts. - Milano Coffee Cups are inspired by the Italian espresso cup. The cups have a unique
ergonomic design that includes a handle to avoid getting burned, and are made from a rigid
plastic that keeps its shape when in use.
NEW LINE OF SOUFFLE CUPS:
- Soufflé Cups are a first for Darnel. Perfect for single serve portions, side dishes and condiments, the cups are highly resistant and do not loose their shape while in use. Offered in
nine sizes in translucent and seven sizes in black, the soufflé cups come with PET lids that are
available in three standard sizes to fit all Darnel soufflé cups.
NEW REVERSIBLE DOME CONTAINERS:
- Reversible Dome Containers. These practical products can be used as plates with dome lids
or as bowls with flat lids, by simply inverting their position. Made out of PET, the domes have
a better oxygen barrier than alternatives, to keep products fresh. Darnels Reversible Dome
Containers are available in seven different sizes from 8 to 64 ounces, are stackable, and
available with both clear and black bottoms. They are ideal for salads and desserts
NEW FOAM FOODSERVICE PRODUCTS:
- Black Foam Products offer a sleek look to Darnels line of hinged lids and plates. The new
black foam line has the same great characteristics of Darnels white foam containers, including
the double tab closure, and signature wave design. - Embossing is now available on Darnel hinged lids. The lids can be embossed with a customer's
logo on both the black and white hinged lids, bringing great brand recognition to any foodservice
operation.
