Clear Lam Packaging announces the opening of its new West Coast facility in Vernon, California to support the growth of its rigid and flexible packaging businesses.

Clear Lam Packaging (www.clearlam.com) announces the opening of its new West Coast facility in Vernon, Calif. to support the growth of its rigid and flexible packaging businesses. The new operation encompasses 110,000 sq. ft. and includes extrusion and thermoforming capabilities as well as a distribution center.

The company is headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Ill. It employs 720 people in seven plants located in the United States and China. Clear Lam produces a variety of thermoformed containers, multi-layer flexible films, printed structures, laminations, coextrusions and rigid rollstock used to package perishable goods.

Clear Lam has taken a role in developing and commercializing rigid and flexible packaging made from plant-based, sustainable raw materials along with packaging made from recycled materials, degradable structures as well as new lightweighting technologies.

Clear Lam has launched the EarthClear initiatives to provide environmentally friendly packaging options.
